About Boathouse Brokerage
Mike Freebairn is the Managing Director of Boathouse Brokerage, part of Boathouse Group, and is a well known and respected personality in both the Australian and International boating community.
Having raced in numerous Admirals Cups and Sydney to Hobarts Mike’s reputation is well known. Mike is best known for racing Koomooloo which, in heavy seas, sank off the NSW Coast in 2007 during that years Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.
In a testimony to Mike’s determination and perseverance he brushed off his loss and with his new boat Ragamuffin (formally Margaret Rintoul II and Spirit of Koomooloo) Mike went on to more racing victories.
Mike has been on the brokerage scene for over 20 years and in that time has built a reputation for integrity and expertise in the boating industry.
